Patchouli Essential Oil

Patchouli Essential Oil

I'm not alone in my fondness for Patchouli Essential Oil...

Despite its aroma being an "acquired taste" (so to speak) for some, Patchouli Oil is remarkably versatile. Patchouli Oil in skin care applications, emotionally in diffuser blends, romantically in sensual blends, spiritually at times for meditation, and in making natural personal fragrances.

Unlike most essential oils that oxidize and diminish in therapeutic and aromatic quality over time, Patchouli Essential Oil improves with age like a fine wine.

Often associated with the hippies and the 1960s, the fragrance of Patchouli Essential Oil is rich, earthy and grounding. In perfumery and fragrancing applications, patchouli is a base note that acts as a fixative and grounds a blend.

Its aroma is suitable for unisex and men's blends. It can act as an aphrodisiac. In skin and hair care,

Patchouli Oil is a wonderful staple to keep on hand. It is helpful for most all skin types ranging from dry, cracked skin all the way to helping to regulate oily skin and acne. Those with eczema, psoriasis and dandruff have said that patchouli is especially helpful for them.

Emotionally, Patchouli Essential Oil is calming and grounding. Spiritually, it has been used alone or in blends during prayer and meditation.

Patchouli thrives in tropical regions and can be found in Hawaii, regions of Asia and other tropical areas of the world.

Aromatic Description: Rich, earthy, woody aroma with a nearly hidden fruity note.

Patchouli Oil Uses: Acne, athlete's foot, chapped skin, dermatitis, eczema, fatigue, frigidity, hair care, insect repellant, mature skin, oily skin, stress.

Juniper Essential Oil

Juniper Berry Essential Oil

The branches and berries of the Juniper, a coniferous tree, have been used for medicinal and spiritual purposes since ancient times.

Native Americans use juniper berries for medicinal applications and burn the berries to cleanse and purify the air.

Juniper berries are a natural antiseptic, as is the essential oil. It may help combat acne when used at low dilutions in skin care applications. A room mist/air freshener made with Juniper Berry Essential Oil may help to kill airborne germs.

Emotionally, Juniper Berry Essential Oil is calming and helps to ease stress without imparting the sedative effects that clary sage and the chamomiles are known for. Spiritually, Juniper Berry Essential Oil used in a room mist, diffuser or candle burner cleanses and purifies the air. It is a good choice for use during prayer or meditation.

Juniper Oil has a distinctive aroma that is woody, sweet, fresh and crisp.

Lavender Oil

Lavender Oil has a beautiful, versatile aroma.

It is anti-bacterial and is a must-have for your first-aid kit. Its calming and sedative properties make Lavender Essential Oil a wonderful oil to help relax, fight stress and to promote sleep. And when properly diluted, it's amongst the safest of essential oils.

Lavender Oil is often the first essential oil that is used to help recover from burns. René-Maurice Gattefossé is the French chemist that first coined the term aromatherapy (Aromathérapie). As AromaWeb's History of Aromatherapy describes, Gattefossé burned his arm. A large container of Lavender Essential Oil was the closest fluid near him. By reflex, he plunged his arm into the Lavender Oil. He discovered that his arm healed quickly and did not scar. He began to study and write about the medicinal properties of essential oils after he discovered how the Lavender Oil helped heal his burn.

Lavender Essential Oil is well known for its sedative properties and for its ability to help calm stress and anxiety and to help promote sleep. If used in excess, however, Lavender Oil can actually act as a stimulant.

Lavender Oil is a great oil to use for children's minor cuts and scrapes because it is anti-bacterial, calming and is considered safe enough to use with children. It is the essential oil of choice used in AromaWeb's Boo Boo Juice recipe.

Lavender Oil Uses: Acne, allergies, anxiety, asthma, athlete's foot, bruises, burns, chicken pox, colic, cuts, cystitis, depression, dermatitis, dysmenorrhea, earache, flatulence, headache, hypertension, insect bites, insect repellant, itching, labor pains, migrane, oily skin, rheumatism, scabies, scars, sores, sprains, strains, stress, stretch marks, vertigo, whooping cough. Trust is everything

Trust me when I say that you have control over the pressure I apply when I am providing you a massage.

It's unfortunate that many of us including myself, that one of first experience with receiving a massage, we were expecting a relaxing, drift off to sleep experience.

When in fact we received a deep tissue massage that is in fact not relaxing and can be quite uncomfortable.

I've seen that look more than once when I mention my services of Aromatherapy massage & Jade Stone massage.

Please check out my website and read the features & benefits of these services.

I promise you can trust me.

Have a blissful day

Believe in yourself

We all tend to listen to much to the outside world. Life is full of other people's opinions. It's time to listen to your inner voice.

Tapping EFT is a great way to know when your listening to your own voice. Releasing negative thoughts, letting go of past issues that are holding you back from your true authentic self.

Feeling from the heart & listening to the heart verses the brain will always lead you to where you truly need to go.

Your inner voice "gut" feeling "intuition" is never wrong " spidey senses" all of these are worth listening to.

Forgiveness that is the KEY.

To forgive yourself to forgive others & even forgive those that won't forgive you.

When you can do this from your heart.

You will start on your journey and never look back.

Have a blissful day.

Life is amazing be present in your life.

Detoxing

8/7/2013

Options for detoxing ourselves:

Detox body wraps

Detox recipes for water

Detox recipes for juicing

Detox "colon cleanse"

Detox using various spices.

Detox pills- fiber- etc

Detox with Ion cleanse

All are a matter of choices and experience

I enjoy the water & juicing and yes I too have tried detox pills.

The detox that use faithfully is my Ion cleanse.

There are a lot of opinions out there, my personal experience was the release of tightness in my knee joints, and the awful crunching grinding sound as I walked up & down stairs.

I started going for treatments and than ended up purchasing the unit for my own personal use.

It does work on a cellular level so therefore there are skeptics out there.

Wonder if they have ever tried it first?

Now that I'm starting my own business I'm able to share this with you. Hope if your suffering from joint pain etc that you try thus service.

Your body can heal itself !!

Have you ever wondered how we truly operate on the inside?  What makes us tick? How everything is so connected, how fine tuned we truly are.  We are miracles, we should try to be better to our bodies.
I have found that getting involved into this alternative methods to improve your health is exactly that.  Improve your health, making healthy choices every day on food, alcohol, drugs (prescription or otherwise).
Life style in general, we take so much for granted.  Exercise is is awesome, as long as you watch what you eat, "you are what you eat", and that is so very true.
I am on this journey with you, I am trying desperately to make changes in my life style as well.
I truly believe in the old remedies of an apple a day keeps the doctor away, chickens soup for colds, onions under your bed or in a room to absorb air born bacteria.
We try all of these yet we tend not look at alternative methods to naturally heal our bodies. My wish is to enlightened people around me, help them to do exactly what my business logo says, " Open your mind and see from your heart".  To me this means be open to try new things as a child you didn't like certain things as you got older you may have decided to try it and found you liked it.
So when you are ready I hope you come and try out my services, you may find you like them and your body will thank you.  That I guarantee!
